On Saturday, January 24, 2009, from 10 am - 12 noon, over 80 volunteers from Our Lady Guadalupe School came to help clean up the beach at Hermosa Beach.  This project was sponsored by the school's student council in conjunction with the Heal the Bay organization with advisors Mrs. Kristine Xifo and Mrs. Pat Kidwell meeting the volunteers at the Beach.  Volunteers ranged from students, parents, confirmation students and parish members. 

Student council hopes to organize another Heal the Bay project in the next few months.
