Today is Divine Mercy Sunday when we remember the mercy of God extended to each of us on Good Friday.  Through the death of Christ, His mercy, salvation is offered to each of us.  God loved us so much that He became like us in all things but sin.  Through His mercy we have the gift of salvation.

Thank you to all who helped made our celebration of Holy Week and Easter the prayerful experiences that they were.  Please give thanks to the many people who did so much during this time.  We have much to be grateful for.

I want to share something with you.  We had many priests from our area for our Penance Service. In the days following, while we were together for other services, I heard time and time again how beautiful our Church looks.  Some even said that we have the most beautiful Church in the South Bay.  They also commented that our attendance at our Penance was the best that they had seen in years.
