Contact Person: Frank Hernandez

The parish council is a body of chosen people, studious and thoughtful, reflective of the local community, consulted by the pastor, and dependent upon him for the council's identity. The parish council has only an advisory role for the clergy, especially the pastor. A parish council exists because we, as clergy, seek practical advice on pastoral matters. We believe that God's Spirit speaks through our people of OLG! We consult the council because we want to know what is wise and prudent. However, the implementation of parish council recommendations is not the work of the council.

Scripture of the Moment

My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

- Proverbs 2:1-6
