Adopt-a-Soul ... Commemorating All Souls Day (7:30 PM - 9:00 PM)
Tonight's youth ministry activities will connect us with the larger OLG parish community by remembering friends and family members who have died. We will also recognize and pray for those parishioners written in our parish's Book of the Dead and and their families.
We'll meet in Parish Hall, 7:30pm - 9:00pm.
All High School Students are invited to hang out with us! Bring a friend – you do not have to be Catholic to attend our events.
We meet most Sunday nights at 7:30 pm unless otherwise noted.

Adults ages 18-29 YAG (Young Adult Group) welcomes you to gather with us to share and to grow in our faith, to pray, to read the Bible, develop and explore our relationships, and to serve God and our community. We are active participates in the parish and community. We invite anyone who is 18 years or older and out of High School to come join us. We have moved YAG for the duration of the remodel to 2609 Gates Ave #3 in Redondo Beach on Mondays at 7:30PM until 9:00 ish. We also go out into the community for our service and social nights. Service Opp: Greeting Card Making Blitz I (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
OLG Confirmation and Youth Ministry invites you to make some birthday cards, Christmas cards, and other holiday cards. These cards will go to our homebound seniors as well as residents of the assisted living homes that our Parish serves.
Are you artistic? Do you like doing crafts? Can you do one or more of the following:
- Cut paper?
- Glue paper?
- Use a marker, pencil, or crayon?
- Fold paper?
- Sit in a chair?
If so, come help make holiday and birthday cards for our senior and homebound brothers and sisters!

"When Life Throws You A Curveball"
What do you do when you are faced with a life-changing event like a serious illness or injury?
When we must endure suffering or pain, we sometimes wonder “Why me?” or want to cry out "Life is unfair!" Trying experiences like these can be difficult for teenagers to endure, let alone for teenagers.
For this youth night, OLG Youth Ministry has gathered a panel of teenagers and young adults, each of whom has experienced “life throwing them a curveball” – leukemia, gang violence, serious accidents, among others.
These remarkable young people have endured their challenge with grace, forgiveness, love and peace.
You are invited to this panel discussion to hear their stories and how their faith has guided and sustained them through their difficult times.
Everyone is invited to this event! We'll meet in OLG Parish Hall, 7:30pm - 9:00pm.

Confirmation Fall Retreat (8:30 AM - 8:45 PM)
Confirmation Fall Retreat
This retreat is required for all confirmation candidates.
Year 1 students - all day (drop off 8:30am at Wilderness Park, Redondo Beach)
Year 2 students - afternoon/evening (drop off 1:45pm at OLG Parish Hall)
What to wear:
Comfortable clothes
Closed-toed shoes
A sweatshirt in case it’s cold
Please dress with Christian Maturity
What to bring:
Your favorite snack, enough for 10 people (we’ll provide the meals)
No cell phones, iPods, etc.
An Open Mind and an Open Heart!
We will end our Retreat with a special 7:30pm Mass with Bishop Alexander Salazar in our remodeled church. Everyone is welcome!
Pickup time for all students is 8:45pm at OLG.
